Cajuns in Hats? (Logo Idea)

One of the hardest things to do is create a representation of what a Cajun is. We have used mascots like The Chicken, Cajun Man, and the one and only Cayenne. I have to say, the one thing we could use as a symbol is a hat not a cowboy hat, but a hat that, if you were from South Louisiana back in the 1800s and 1900s, you wore that is iconic to Cajun culture. Whether you were working in a field, fishing, or just going into town. That if you black, white, hispanic etc. that you wore. Here are examples of what I am talking about.

We could be unique, instead of the traditional band hats that we use for marching band, we can wear these types of hats like, Troy uses the old trojan hats. Or Texas they do the Cowboy Hats, it could be a trend with fans wearing these types of hats to sporting events. I think it be interesting and unique.

Time to start a trend lol.

Coveralls with the metal belt or bust. Period.

It would be nice to make our own branded hat trick . . . put that white Albino on it . . .

Yes this might be the stereotypical version, but i think we can keep it respectable by just using the hat, the hat is unique and really it only pertains to us. I have to agree might have to do without the overalls.

The way Texas is associated with the cowboy hat, we can make synonymous with Cajun Culture and Louisiana.

Called a Chapeau !! Totally down that it is a French style hat, with the ones that are unique that are worn down here as opposed to the one ones in Europe or anywhere else.

Trust me i had to look that up.

There is this guy out of New Orleans called the Cajun Hatter. Man i almost tempted in buying one. Its all custom cajun style hats.
