$.18/gal. Gas wars in San Antonio just outside gate at Kelly AFB. Two stations trying to outdo each other. 1970. Insane. 1974 the world went nuts and it was hard to find gasoline.

My grandfather had a grocery and gas station in the Houma area.
He died when I was 3, but I would love to know his gas prices back then in 1963.
Around .64/gallon.
.50 for rcaf license plates, .55 for cajuns or UL bumper sticker, .80 for TSAB
