Re: SB: Ragin' Cajuns Return Home to Lamson, Host McNeese
Up 2-0 in the 7th. Landry’s only issue has been walks and hit batters. Only 1 hit.
2 free passes to put the tying runs on base with no outs.

Re: SB: Ragin' Cajuns Return Home to Lamson, Host McNeese
Loads them up with 1 out. All free passes. Landry pulled.
-
Re: Cajuns vs Tech
Meanwhile, SB has no thread, guess nobody cares at 14-12. Up 2-0 top of the 7th over McNeese. Sam Landry with 2 walks and a HBP. One out. She is flat out missing the spots. Pitching change., CR in circle.
Bases load E5 makes it 2-1, 2 out.
Grounder to 3b, redemption. 2-1 final.
Cajun's runs two bases loaded walks.

We play like this against
South Al we will get swept.

Error at 3rd on what would have been the 3rd out ground ball scores 1.

Re: SB: Ragin' Cajuns Return Home to Lamson, Host McNeese
Man, that was close. Ellestad makes up for the bobble.
Mcneese is always a good RPI win.

Re: SB Louisiana vs McNeese
Nice win. McNeese has a good team. Always enjoy beating McNeese.
Landry did not have her best stuff but battled and got the job done.

Re: SB Louisiana vs McNeese
You’ll rarely get complaints with a tech and mcneese state sweep in the diamond sports on the same night. Not jazzed about the hitting tonight in softball, but the important thing was the W. Mcneese had a good night defensively.

South Al and McNeese are very similar programs; if either is better than the other, it is McNeese by a small margin.

South Al can beat anybody in the country with Lackey on the mound. Mcneese doesn’t have that type of pitcher. But your point is well taken. I would not be surprised if we see Lackey3 times this weekend.

I certainly hope we do. Lackey is 0 for career vs Louisiana.

I am a basketball girl at heart, but did play a little slow pitch softball back in my younger days. When did the fast pitch girls start using a mound to pitch from?

I have seen her pitch twice this year. She is different. I sure hope we are in her head as you stated.

Admittedly, I have not seen her this year. We shall see soon enough.

Bump for this weeks matchup

Re: SB Louisiana vs McNeese
This is a big game for both us and McNeese. We need another top 50 win, just as they need a top 25 win.
For us a loss here probably ends what hopes we have to host; for them a loss in this game likely ends any chance they have to get an at-large bid if they fail to win the SLC tournament.
It should be a really good contest. We need to bring a lot of energy into this game; it is critical that we do not have a post big game letdown regardless of the outcome of tonight's game.

Why do we never use their proper name?

Because we are not petty douchebags and could care less what they want to call or brand themselves as…

We should use TSAB's correct name too.

I do not think a loss to McNeese ends hopes that we have to host. It is much more important to win vs. LSU than vs. McNeese. I would absolutely take a win vs. LSU and a loss to McNeese, if I had to lose one ... and we would be squarely in the running for a host spot. For hosting purposes, it is essential that the Cajuns beef up their record against the RPI Top 25 and RPI Top 10 as much as possible. An LSU win gives them both.

LMAO. I’m sure we’ve both experienced people move here from out of state and they blurt out something like “what kind of team State will have this year”.
I’m waiting on WW to land back at TSAB in two years. Seems he has bought another group of players that should mow down the SLC. McMahon showed some brief moments but not enough.
