Kennesaw State isn't a sexy get, but it aligns with Maggard's scheduling philosophy of in-state FCS, one P5, and two G5 (Kennesaw joins CUSA in 2024).
Tulane, La Tech, Tulsa, Rice, and UAB are set to come to Cajun Field in future years. From the FCS ranks, Grambling and McNeese are also set to visit us. Kennesaw will be D1 in 2024.Quote:

How the Frick did we go from scheduling home-and-homes with Alabama and Texas A&M back in the '90s to this garbage?! To me, scheduling a team that started playing football in 2015 is the equivalent of our basketball team scheduling games against NAIA opponents. It's so stupid! That just makes it even worse! Why would we want to go to a D2 level stadium first?! We have Cajun Field with 41K seats. Kennesaw State's stadium has 8K, and yeah the facility looks nice but it's gonna feel like we're playing a high school smh.Quote:
