Diesel Solari, Cecilia
Putting up some sick numbers as a Jr.QB...too small for college QB, but could play a ton of offensive positions. Is UL recruiting him and has anyone seen him play?

Re: Diesel Solari, Cecilia
I’m a non faculty football coach at Cecilia, so I’ve been watching him play in person for 2 1/2 years (missed second half of season with acl last year). He is the best pound for pound hs player I’ve seen in 25 plus years of coaching.

He definitely has the name to compete with Jamaican.

I can’t personally answer that one because I never saw Jamaican play. Jamaican was probably about 20-30 pounds heavier and a couple of inches taller.

Re: Diesel Solari, Cecilia
Jamaican was 5'10, around 190
I lived in Cecilia during that incredible 5 year stretch that included 4 state champ games I believe..

They went to 3 in a 4 year stretch. Ironically, they won the state championship on their last trip after Jamaican graduated.

Re: Diesel Solari, Cecilia
. . . we just lost to A State by 20 . . . we should have no problem finding him a position asap . . . a larger issue might be someone else finding him a position . . .

To come from there and play for us? Probably so.
But Jamaican Dartez was unbelievable. He was good at Tulane too.

Re: Diesel Solari, Cecilia
Big Anthony Clement was a part of those teams, only played DT, played OT at UL
And was a high NFL draft choice...

Re: Diesel Solari, Cecilia
Jamaican Dartez was the best RB I faced in high school. I faced him in the ‘92 state championship game. Jennings came out on top.
