Um, we play 12 games now so we can't go 5-6 unless a game gets cancelled. Also there's no way we get back to pre HUD. The foundation has already been built and there's too much talent in the area. MD would be gone before that happens

Oh ok, but 6 and 6 is just treading water but it's still light years away from the 4-7 avg of the pre HUD era. I'm saying 7 like Sonny.

There are 5 teams on our schedule that are better than us. UAB, Minnesota, S Al, Southern Miss and Troy. We'll win one of those but most likely lose one we shouldn't. MD is gonna be better this year but he still has a lot to learn. Course everything depends on health but our O-line should be better and our fate really rides with them.

Correct. I see 5 wins. 5-7

8-4 O line much improved and will be able to run the ball. That takes care of a lot of issues on O. And defense will be better than most are giving them credit for. O line and defense have lots of young talent should be good for the next few years.

Again, what are you seeing and hearing that concerns you? Gotta give some details to your previous post.

I think we win against NSU, ODU, Buffalo, Tx State, Ga State, Ark State and ULM. I need those plus one against the rest of the schedule: UAB, Minn, USA, USM & Troy. USM being the lone home game, is the best shot.

My reason for betting the over is #1, I am a fan and want to believe, but #2 is that we are much more settled at QB and OL, which I believe were the main issues for us last season.

Lastly, Des has had a much more stable offseason and I expect him to be better this season, as well.

A 3-2 start is expected, if we go 4-1, it is going to be a good season, if we start 2-3, then I am probably a loser unless the team gets better as the season goes.
