Another good listen..
Jay talks with Coach Deggs about the 2023 season, Gunner Leger, New guys coming in for 2024, transfer portal etc
Re: Jay Interviews Coach Deggs (podcast)
Yeah was a good listen. Got a good explanation on Gunner's role and what he can/can't do as well as the makeup of the staff as it is now.
Re: Jay Interviews Coach Deggs (podcast)
Excellent listen. Recommended for the baseball fans for sure.
Re: Jay Interviews Coach Deggs (podcast)
. . . Coach Deggs taking care of needs . . .
Re: Jay Interviews Coach Deggs (podcast)
Deggs talked about Higgs / how he came on strong and sounded unsure about his future here b/c he had made a name for himself. Is he in the portal?

Not to my knowledge. I think he is concerned with draft.

Re: Jay Interviews Coach Deggs (podcast)
Coach Deggs mentioned a pitcher coming from an Arizona JC that they were concerned about losing to the draft. And that 2 Canadian pitchers may be coming, one of which was this JC kid.
Does anyone know his name? There was a Canadian pitcher from an Arizona JC drafted in the 10th round yesterday. If that’s the guy, and he makes it here, he would be a GREAT get.
Big lefty with insane strikeout numbers and very few walks, who was originally a U of Washington signee but was unable to go there at the time due to Covid restrictions.
Re: Jay Interviews Coach Deggs (podcast)
Deggs pretty much set his expectations like Glasco did. Deggs says it’s time to take it to the next level and get to a super regional and then to Omaha. He basically said the exact same thing as Glasco in that he doesn’t want to be Regional Deggs. Just not as specific as Glasco was about it. Deggs stated he is tired of getting Stuck in regional play.
I like it!!!

Matthias LaCombe - RHP from Cochise College and a native of France is a UL signee who was drafted in the 12th round (359 overall) by the White Sox.
Louis Phillippe Langevin - RHP from Wabash Valley College is a Canadian (Quebec) who signed with UL and is still undrafted
Re: Jay Interviews Coach Deggs (podcast)

What makes you think they wouldn’t get a fair shake on the others?

Pretty sure we were critical of Hud when he was coach. Very critical, in fact.
I'll take your "I see what is posted on RP" and raise you "Watch our Hud interview" for an example.
Re: Jay Interviews Coach Deggs (podcast)
I’m talking about what the main dude posted about Deggs and the baseball team . . . two years in a row . . . dispicable . . . It is a Deggs interview that they won’t get we talking about correct.
