Weather outlook for Coral Gables...

Louisiana has never lost a game due to a weather delay in any sport! I’ll take it!

1. Eastern Gulf of Mexico:
An area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms is associated with
a surface trough of low pressure interacting with an upper-level
trough over the eastern Gulf of Mexico. Environmental conditions
appear only marginally favorable for additional development over the
next several days as the system meanders over the eastern Gulf of
Mexico. The system is then forecast to move across the Florida
Peninsula this weekend and emerge into the southwestern Atlantic
Ocean by early next week. Regardless of development, the system
could produce heavy rainfall and gusty winds over portions of the
Florida Peninsula later this week. Additional information on the
rainfall and flooding potential can be found in products issued by
your local National Weather Service forecast office and Excessive
Rainfall Outlooks issued by the Weather Prediction Center.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...low...20 percent.

Storms typically start later afternoon this time of year.

No better time for that #6 Field Percentage ranking to come into play..

Unfortunately the Marlins are home this weekend, otherwise they could use the field as a backup, with the cover. But they have games this weekend so that is out. Hopefully the weather won't be as bad as expected.

It wouldn't take much to work around the Marlins games considering their fan base. We plan to go to a couple Marlins games this weekend around the Cajuns games, and prices right behind the plate in the lower level are $10. I doubt they consider it, but it wouldn't be hard to do

Exactly. Staying in the winners bracket is all the more important in weather delay situations.

I can tolerate the regional if it has to go to single elimination, but it would be Turrible if no one plays and they automatically advance the 1 seed.
