I believe he is a graduate transfer and the deadline does not apply for them.

Guess this is what we will have to deal with. Money and tampering will be the ruining of College football.

And fans here keep posting for Des to use the portal. We don’t have money to recruit the players we have already landed, much less the money to lure better players over.

Jeez. What’s the point of even fielding a team at this point? Nothing more than a farm system for the top 30-40 schools

It's just the beginning. Mid majors will be nothing more than farm systems [minor leagues] for the big boys. It'll get much worst. The ruination of college athletics is in full force.

NCAA needs to put a year of bench time on the other side of the portal, stat.

Well, if the current track of going after h/s players hard continues, what happens after investing years and time making them into D1 FBS players only to have them hired away to NIL rich programs?

Jake Spavital was a crappy recruiter but was a man ahead of his time.

Well in the grand scheme of things being ruined currently in our country college football is the least of our worries.

I just want to be really good in baseball at this point.

Can’t bring myself to continue really caring about the football program when this is the state of the game. I’ll turn the tube on the games to have it on while cooking or doing stuff in the yard on the weekends, but going to be really tough to stay glued to it caring what happens.
