What about Marusak? Did his early bat this season play him out of contention?
Is there time remaining to rehabilitate?

The article was at the top of my ESPN+ page when I pulled it up today. I don't follow the draft that closely except for keeping up with who gets drafted in real time.
Re: Cajun Baseball Draft Stock
What about Rawls? Will he be thrown a flyer or will pitching under 90 be an unequivocal disqualifier?
Re: Cajun Baseball Draft Stock
These lists only cover about 5 rounds worth of picks.
There are 20 rounds now. A guy like Marusak would have gotten drafted at some point in the old days, based strictly on tools. In the new condensed version, it’s not likely. Rawls is probably an even longer shot.
But…all it takes is for one team to like you, even if the other 29 have zero interest.

I agree. And he’s the type that may cruise through an organization.

Yes he is. I thought he was just a sophomore, but I just looked and he’s a 3rd year guy so he’s draft eligible.
He’s certainly one that could hear his name called.

In my opinion, he, like Brock last year, could benefit greatly by having a full year as a D1 starter to improve his stock. I certainly hope he does come back.

I agree. His stock could sky rocket with a full season of high level production.

Thanks. Didn’t realize he played JC ball.

After the repeated nutkickings I've gotten watching just about every game so far this year, I do remain optimistic about our young position players. But a junior slugger who can play center field is obviously a great place to start your lineup next year.

He was considered a Sophomore this year because of Covid.

According to his bio, he redshirted in 2021. Freshman last year. Sophomore this year.
He’s not listed on the 2020 (Covid year) roster.
Either way, he’s draft eligible. And he’s also 21 years old.
