Hammond fails to get out of the 4th for the 3rd time in 4 games. We need a Friday night guy
3 of his last 4 outings our Friday night guy can’t make it through the 4th. That’s a bad sign.
Meanwhile we’ve struck out 8 times through 4 to a guy with a 5+ ERA…
And all we do is strikeout strikeout strikeout against a guy whose given up 4+ runs in his last 5 starts
6 free passes and 5 hits through 4.0 innings on a Friday.
Replace a guy who can’t throw strikes with another guy that can’t throw strikes. Well none of our guys can throw strikes so I guess they don’t have a choice
