SB: LOUISIANA vs Texas
With Tennessee state scoring 3 runs in the 5th, looks like we'll be lucky to start by 9 tonight. Wonder if they will cancel it?

Re: Louisiana-Texas softball game delayed...
How many times over the last few years has a Cajun base runner been thrown out (not even close) and Glasco then looks at one of his players and acts like they missed a signal?
If there are this many missed signals should something be done to correct it?
Runners on the corners no outs in first inning and Cajuns give up a silly out on the base path.
This has become a long term issue that is not getting (any) better.
If this lineup is as talented as everyone thinks let the top of the lineup hit with runners on base.

Turbine or mods, can we get a thread name change and make this a game thread?

If you’re like me. Thumbing around on Hulu trying to find the game. It’s a no.

Can’t tell from the broadcast. Was that an easy play we botched?

This was not elite pitching. They did not throw their ace. They threw their number two and their number three.

Still couldn’t hit them…that’s not good news.

Re: Louisiana-Texas softball game delayed...
Offense has not been as hope so far, but we've seen some elite pitching too.

Re: Louisiana-Texas softball game delayed...
Where is our elite pitching? These close losses aren't helping out our resume to host a regional. Hopefully they best Texas the 2nd time. Record against top 25 is 2 and ....

Against the Cajuns, FSU did not start their elite pitcher. Oklahoma State did not start their elite pitcher. Arkansas did not start their elite pitcher. UCLA did not start their elite pitcher.

Re: Louisiana-Texas softball game delayed...
Kind of the point, teams that make OKC more often than not have more than one elite pitcher. Cajuns had that the Covid shutdown year.

Sounds like we aren't quite there yet. Aren't we really young this year?

Against Texas last night, three freshmen, five sophomores in the field. I guess you call that young.

We had a team that year. Before the shut down I think we had close to the #1 RPI. Understanding that it was March, but that team was winning. Like 5 top 10 wins, right? Summer and Kleist were the pitchers?
They were well on the way to a top 8. Certainly a season thar got away.
