Glenn Brown III

I assume this is a PWO for the Cajuns, but he is committed. Young man is a DB from St. James HS in Vacherie.

Don't see any offers for him and he is listed as a 2 star on 247 sports.

He actually played in 9 games last year and had 17 total tackles from his CB position including 2 TFL loss. He did not play much in 2020 or 2021 but last year he did play a decent amount for the Jags.

He’s been at Southern since 2018. Still seems like an odd choice to me with how adverse to the portal we are.

Keep in mind, he could be coming in as a Grad transfer with the opportunity to show the staff what he can do in the spring. Napier grabbed a number of players in the 2021 Class including Jefferson, Stephens, Woolridge, LeGrendre and Kibodi. Until this past season only Jefferson and Stephens received significant playing time. TJ Fiailoa never became eligible and Anderson left after spring. My gut is he's much like the Tulane transfer Ross Cheatham in getting an opportunity to make the team, but he isn't expected to help in the rotation.

Possibly he’s added for depth only. Also noticed he grew 3 inches for his senior season? Unusual to say the least.

Does he get the Covid free season for 2020?
