Saw this yesterday. No surprise. I wish the young man well.
With Ben and chandler returning he was set to be 4 on the depth chart. Not really surprising, do think he is talented though
Ben has an ACL injury no one knows how he will recover from that. As of right now they have 2 QB’s on the roster for spring practice that is awfully thin. I have even heard Ben is considering a medical red shirt. Des better look at picking a QB up in the portal. 2 isn’t enough to go into a season and run a practice with a scout team unit.
Well, if he takes a medical, we either have to move LL back to QB or get a young backup QB through the portal, JC or HS. We can't go into fall camp with a 2 deep roster at QB.
I am thinking that LL2 will probably still get some emergency reps anyway.Quote:

We offered this guy. Wonder if CMD would entertain bringing in someone like him? Could cause problems but with the portal, you better have a full room of QB's. Least, that's what CBN told me when I asked why he had 8 QBs on the roster before 21' season.
He can entertain Rick, but I doubt we can match the NIL opportunities he will receive. It could also be he plans to enroll somewhere in January but has announced it.Quote:
