Thoughts of Cajun Field going cashless this season?

Oh no...lets add that to the list of reasons not to go....personally, I like the idea

How come? It’s not like you can’t pay via card already. I’ll be there regardless but I don’t understand cutting off any form of legal tender.

Will it make concession lines flow faster? It doesn't seem to help Walmart.

As long as the WiFi works for the credit card machines, great. Shouldn't have issues. If the WiFi is slow, then we may have some problems.

Example: the Nicholls game last year; I missed almost the entire 2nd Qtr because the card machines were slow

Here is the problem.

Go to one place and they surcharge if you use a card. Go to the next place and their tellers can't figure out change. Go to the next place... they don't take cash, and surcharge you anyway.

a Wal of people in line in front of you not very -mart.

Everyone seems to now be adding 3% - 4% to every transaction utilizing a credit/debit card. Need to stay with a cash option!

Looks like I’ll go back to the pre beer sales days and bring in a flask.

I hate cashless venues.

I doubt young people will have a problem with this.

My dad will not give a waitress his credit card unless he can stand there and watch it be scanned.

Know your audience, don't alienate.

We should NEVER go cashless. Keeping the ability to pay in cash is insurance for when the system crashes during a game, and it will.
