We don't have a good hitting team. It's a bad as Glasco's first season. They swing at a lot of pitches out of the strike zone, and often struggle making solid contact with pitches in the zone. Pitching is spotty too.
Not the team I thought we would have this year. Missed a golden opportunity last year.

2.40 season era and we have been phenomenal the last 6 games pitching wise. You must not be watching the same pitching as everyone else. What did you think we would be undefeated? We have had injuries to Roman, O Neill, Eleyson, Rawls, Alderink, Mayeau, Milz, Kean.

I was waiting for your reply. Summer has been better. Lamb is better, but not elite, yet. After those two, we have nobody that has shown any real promise.
Losing O'Neal and Roman hurt, badly. But, I'm seeing girls with 5+years of experience swinging at bad pitches. Didn't see that much last season.

We only need two good pitchers.

To be honest, 22-6 seems about right for this team. I think they are good, but they have some missing pieces. Still got to work through that, but you can’t argue with 6-0 on a weekend.

From coach Glasco: "I thought we could have answered quicker," Glasco said. "We were just swinging at bad pitches - swinging at pitches under and balls over. I told them right before the fourth inning the second you guys stop swinging at balls below your knees and balls above your chest, we'll put five runs up."
Guess he's seeing the same thing.
There is too much offense these days in softball too think you only need 2 pitchers to get to OK city.

Notice I said you only need two GOOD pitchers.

This team is pressing at the plate, for sure. Oddly, it isn't showing up as strikeouts, but just weakly hit balls.

Lots of pop ups and weak grounders. They have hit solid shots right to the other team, so hope those start finding the gaps.

Notice what Coach said about swinging at bad pitches. The clubs that make it to OK city have more than 2 Good pitchers. Name one of the remaining pitchers other than Summer and Kandra that can start and win a game.
