Who takes the extra year?
We know Levi is coming back next season, I think Big Sauce could benefit with another season. Who else?

Big Sauce decision will depend upon what draft analysts tell him which round he is likely to be taken in if at all.
Re: Who takes the extra year?
Reading between the lines, it sounds like Ragas and Eli are gone, but I guess Ragas could still change his mind.
Who is "big sauce?"
Re: Who takes the extra year?
Ragas, Mitchell, Humphrey, manac to NFL
I dont see Joe Dillon coming back for 7th year

Tayland Humphrey.

I don’t see them all getting drafted. But I guess they could leave to be UFA
Re: Who takes the extra year?
Humphrey needs to be in better shape to up his draft stock. That won't happen this year.
Ragas won't be drafted, he'll have to go as udfa. So, he may come back.
Manac won't get drafted. He's been too inconsistent. Another year could change that.

It makes sense if you are not getting drafted and like playing football in college that you would come back... I think Mitchell is the only one getting drafted this year
Re: Who takes the extra year?
I think Mitchell could use another year as well. But if we lose Mitchell, ragas should want to come back and be the bell cow. He would have a monster year on this team and definitely be drafted next year.
Re: Who takes the extra year?
Is anyone eligible for extra year or did you have to be enrolled in 2020?
Re: Who takes the extra year?
I guarantee Ragas gets drafted
Re: Who takes the extra year?
Question... Since this year does not count, does that mean a senior can opt to be a grad transfer? Seems like it would. That is always my worry. A player like Mitchell getting reps for a P5 school to boost his exposure has to be tempting.

I think Mitchell will be taking snaps in the NFL next season!

Didn't he already accept the Senior bowl invite?

Yes that’s correct. And Ragas was selected for the East-West Shrine Bowl.
Re: Who takes the extra year?
Amazing how young this team is.......# of impact Seniors on the #17 team in nation is relatively small. That said it would be nice for McCaskill and Gardner to our ILB again next year. If Big Sauce returns, most of the 2 deep on D could all be back.. passing game has the potential to explode with all the Freshmen already playing now.

Can they play in those All Star games and still choose to come back?
Re: Players for Next Year
Regarding the subject of this thread, besides Levi coming back, I'm not aware of any other SR. that has committed to doing the same. FWIW, unless I had a NFL draft grade, or just done with "going to school", or want to get on with my life, or have real job lined up, I would be staying if that meant playing significant minutes or being a ST contributor.
IMO, playing college sports on a scholarship, is easily one of the best times of your life. To have the opportunity to extend that another season would be hard to pass up.
