Redshirt senior offensive lineman Robert Hunt has been invited to participate in the 2020 Reese's Senior Bowl, the Senior Bowl Committee announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Senior right tackle Robert Hunt will undergo a surgical procedure and miss UL's Jan. 6 LendingTree Bowl game against Miami (Ohio) in Mobile.
Like many NFL prospects hoping to get drafted next month, former UL right tackle Robert Hunt is trying to navigate his preparation for that big day through all the obstacles from the coronavirus pandemic.
Unlike most of them, however, Hunt has been in that mindset long before anyone had heard of COVID-19.

I watched Robert Hunt at camp and he showed up in cut off jeans and a t-shirt. He was big, raw and athletic, just hadn't played at a high level.
Great, great story.
Wish he didn't get hurt mid-season....though it didn't seem to hurt his draft stock.
This dude always had a smile on his face and very humble kid too! Proud he's a Ragin Cajun!
I remember Coach Hud talking about him on the signing day bash they had. It's great to see a story like this any time, but especially when it involves your university.

Dotson and hunt will be drafted we know that. The question is if and whether or not a few others have a chance at getting drafted or free agent contracts.
