So our best chance to score is to not make contact?
From the common sense department, it’s not hard to figure out why these kids don’t like playing for Talbot when you have 2 on, no out, and you ask the 3 hole hitter, who’s a “trusted senior” to bunt..
They’ve sucked the excitement out of the game for this team. Just my early opinion, and something that was obvious during the course of the year in 2017.
Have we scored this year then hung a zero on the other guys? I don’t think so
And Nick Lee looks like a carbon copy of last year... wtf is happening
Breaking pitch not working yet. Hitters sittin fastball.
Good response from Nick, all things considered.
It’s time to hit the god damned baseball.
Nick needed to find his change-up. He did. Filthy in the third inning.

Anyone remember how much those table areas on the 1st & 3rd upper concourses go far? They are sweet.
I don’t know if I should be excited that we are actually making contact with the ball or not. I guess it’s a start.
Another quality arm for our opponent. 1 hit thru 4 innings.
Looking at these at bats live makes me feel sad.
What a waste of a state of the art facility.

Add bad base running to the list of problems.
Awful offense. Awful base running.
Terrible base running in back to back pitches.
How often do you see the same base runner make two base running mistakes (both resulting in outs) in the same inning? McKinnon made two bad ones that cost us dearly.

Even when we are given a golden opportunity to get back into the game, we somehow mess it up.
P R E S S I N G to make something happen
We’re in a serious self inflicted wound mode.
Why are we swinging on a 2-0 count when the pitch is in the dirt and the pitcher is struggling to find the strike zone (first two pitches were also in the dirt)?!!? With runners at first and second!
We need to be smarter at the plate. Smarter period!

Meanwhile, softball gets shut out by North Florida 1-0. Not exactly tearing the cover off the ball on the 240' diamond either.
Yea but they did actually hit.
