The Mardi Gras Classic softball tournament will conclude on Sunday with games being played at the Broussard_Sports Complex at St. Julien Park.

scheduled games for Sunday will now be played at the Broussard Sports Complex on St. Nazaire Road, weather permitting. admission is free. 2 fields will be used.
Field 5
9am - Louisiana vs. Eastern Illinois
(completion of Saturday's 2 p.m. game)
10am - Evansville vs. Eastern Illinois

Field 6
9am - UIC vs. Iowa
11am - Iowa vs. Louisiana

Will that complete all the games or will some be played Monday?

no games on monday. teams are leaving to go back home sunday afternoon.

I believe one game (not including the Cajuns) was cancelled Saturday.

I assume Cajuns game will not be streamed on the Ragin Cajun website. Does anyone know for sure?

Looks like no video today. Not too surprising. Looks like the live stats are not up either.

E Illinois gets a homer in th bottom of the 5th to cut the lead to 5-4.

Cajuns get 2 on a bases loaded error by EIU. 7-4 in the top of the 6th.

Then another on a passed ball. 8-4.

Then another on a sac fly. 9-4.

Sloppy pitching leads to 2 runs for EIU in the bottom of the 6th. 9-6

EIU can win it with a hit. But they do not.

Yes, and with one pitch away from winning the game. Maybe a walk would have been the plan with power hitter Mitchel at the plate and bases loaded.
