Buy the time Etienne and Mitchell were Jr.'s the UL coaches saw Etienne as a regional recruit and not likely to get him and they kept telling me they liked the Mitchell kid from Erath and thought they had a much better chance to land him than Etienne. Well Etienne signed with Clemson we got Mitchell. I say UL coaches played their cards right with this one! Who really was stupid in this was LSU not offering either. Etienne was eventually offered by LSU after Clemson who offered the night after the national championship game.Quote:

Hud don't care where you are from or what you did on the field in HS. He is all about getting a kid to his camp putting the tape and stop watch on him and judging from his camp showing. He said on his show last night when talking about the recruitment of Elijah it was all about his camp performance. "We don't sign any kids that we don't get into our camp".
