What happened in the 1:30 game today vs. Bradley and what's the score in the 4:00 game vs. Syracuse?
Cajuns won 8-0 over Bradley
Cajuns 2 -0 third against Syracuse
according to the tracker on the UL website, bradley beat UL 8-0...seems like someone would correct that..jeez louis...
Three 30 game winners on the roster.
I wonder if they could all get -say- 18 wins this year?
Missed the Bradley game. You probably already know this, but you can stream it here:

Look for Brignac to redshirt especially if Cuevas is her old self. Brignac is not ready yet and this procedure usually takes 8 months to start throwing and about a full year before someone is game ready. Brignac had this surgery back in June or July of last summer. She is just now at about 8 months although from what I heard she has been throwing for some time now.
This year Bourgeois and Cuevas
Next year Bourgeois and Brignac
The year after Brignac and the two incoming highly touted freshmen for next years class who will be RS freshman by then.
Pitching will be in good shape for some time.
UL wins 9-0. Bourgeois pitches 7 innings with 10 K's and gives up just 3 hits. Orgeron hits the games only HR. Verde and Gaspard each with 2 hits.
If you can get your fielders to consistently finish plays like this, and you can have a really successful season

Does anyone know how Katie Smith was able to be substituted for multiple times and reenter multiple times in yesterday's second game. Did the Cajuns get away with this or is there a new rule.
It was during the second game. Tydelski replaced Smith in centerfield I wanna say around the third inning. Then, when Tydelski's turn to hit came back up, Smith re-entered to hit. The bottom half of that inning, Tydelski returned to center, which she technically couldn't do. The next inning Katie went back out to center, so it was probably just a mixup.
Normally, only the starter can re-enter, so once Katie had re-entered, Tydelski was done. Now, someone else could go out there and take Katie out the lineup again, but not Tydelski.
I'd have to look it up, but I think since Tydelski was only a defensive replacement, the "penalty" had they gotten caught would have just been a ball on the batter at the plate when the infraction was discovered.
Really not a big deal. Sounds like miscommunication between Katie and Jensen as to who was supposed to be in center.
