2 strikeouts in the inning but he threw 18 pitches. Hope he can get a few short innnings.

Harris gets out of a little scoring threat with 2 on and 2 out. Let's geaux hit.

I've been waiting for batters to figure out Hogan starts righties fastball in. That 3 hole hitter was sitting on it all the way.

Coastal announcer calling him Harris Hogan...

Hopek having trouble locating slider. We should take advantage

Hopeck's command has not been impressive. Strikeouts came on pitches out of the zone. Need to be disciplined.

Gunna need Hogan to standup tall today. CCU starter making mistakes and our hitters aren't making him pay.

Outside of Izzy we aren't having good ABs thus far. Need to let the breaking ball go and sit fastball.

Agreed. Very poor ABs against a pitcher that is falling behind ... does not have command on any of his pitches ... and has not thrown the breaking ball for a strike. Need to be patient (take the gifts) and attack the pitches in the sweet zone ... before Hopeck finds it.

All I have seen is he has some good movement on the FB but nothing world beating. We are helping him out

Yes ... and has not controlled those pitches. The last two pitches to Pinero were way off the mark.

At least he executed on the third attempt but every pitch he attempted to bunt were balls. Could have worked a walk.
