Nope. We gain absolutely nothing by winning this game. Losing it, otoh, is both a disgrace and a major national embarrassment.

I made a bold prediction about our run game last week. Not ready to do it again. I really thought Jennings would have been a bigger threat in his feet which is going to set up the run game if we go zone read. Let's hope the coaches use the athletes correctly today.

No, it matters to other schools in our conference, to other schools (and recruits)in our state and to schools and conferences we want to be associated with. To think otherwise is folly.

My hope is that our players show more of an attitude for this rivalry match than they did when LA Tech kicked our butt. As in the LA Tech game, it will be evident from the opening kick. These kids had better perform or I hope they turn in their uniforms; let us join the southland conference and spend our football money on other sports. Imagine what Tony, Bob and Mike could do with the RCAF contributions given to football. We'd even have enough money to build a powerhouse track and field program. Now that would be cool. Or just win football, just win.
