Where'd you get this info?
Was a 4 star QB coming out of HS in Georgia and was also offered by Chip Kelly while Kelly was at Oregon. Although he never really impressed while playing at LSU, he was forced into a more pro style offense and is much more suited for the spread. He will bring some experience right away which we have almost none returning. This may either give Jordan Davis another year to grow or push him to the point to beat Jennings out.
From someone close to the LSU program. So of course it may not be official yet, but we may be hearing something soon?
I don't believe you
@BR transfers pan out about 10% of the time so I'll be excited if and when his Td to turnover rate on the actual field is positive. Until then...
Keep it under the table for what reason?
May god have mercy on our souls. So the question is will we ever get past the 50 yard line this year?
well he is 6'2" 216 ish so at the least he should be able to run
He is not officially here until he enrolls and he can still go anywhere. I suppose the only ones that have heard of his interest in UL would be LSU insiders and few others. But I won't go out on the limb and say he is here until he enrolls in August. That is why they wanted kept it under the table because he has been off the radar since spring. As they love to say in the SID, its not official. I hope he sticks with his decision.
This is great, UL needs a break out transfer if it's ever going to build that fence.
This kid would be a MONSTER! I hope the news is true.
He does run the zone read well and he can run. He may compare to pre broken arm Terrance Broadway.
No thanks. Hope it's bogus.
He's bigger and faster than Tb... The pressure of lswho fans insulting him etc didn't help his passing stats. He seems to be missing confidence but that can attained.
He doesn't really drive the ball down field very well, but he can throw the touch pass down the side line and short passes. I think he helps McGuire in the running game, and it's definitely an upgrade from last year!
Could we please show support in case the kid reads RP. I would hope Turbine would do us all a favor aND make this thread disappear for a month until its official. We don't want this to get legs...
Let me just say if it holds true and he enrolls, we are talking about a guy that has started a number of SEC games. While he is no All-American, this is the SBC and he is capable of playing well enough in this conference to help this program win games. He has something Davis does not, experience against some of the top defenses in the country.
I'll take em
