Opponents view: Jags' defense hope to avoid re-run of Louisiana's running game success
The Ragin' Cajuns will run the football, then likely run it some more. And repeat that approach often.
Just ask Arkansas State. <s>Lafayette</s> 'Louisiana' used sophomore Elijah McGuire and senior Alonzo Harris to run through, around and past the Red Wolves last week ...

Well it looks like our SID has some work to do today.

Yep. Gonna be a surprise when Sal arrives expecting the Leopards and gets trucked by Louisiana instead. Lol!

they will walk down 6-7 in the box. start the game with a play action quick slant to riles it will be 7-0 before their fans find their seats.

So South Alabama vs Lafayette at Cajuns Field this Saturday
Should be a barnburner.
Who do we play at Cajun Field this week if S. Alabama is playing that game??

Isn't it great to be an alumnus of Lafayette?
Re: Opponents view: Jags' defense hope to avoid re-run of Louisiana's running game success
Anyone comment on that article to let this guy know that Mobile is not traveling to Easton, Pa to play the Leopards?
I can't see the comments on my work computer.

No....And I'm quite shocked.
I think he is obviously doing that on purpose and wants some personal attention from the name police.

Well. It was ranked 431 spots higher than us in that list you posted the other day. #leopoardpride :)

Mr. Hicks
I just read an article you have about USA needs to stop the run this weekend. You kept saying Lafayette's run game is good. While reading your article I was thinking south Al was going to play the Lafayette leopards up in PA. Then you mentioned the Ragin Cajuns. I am familiar with the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns and the Lafayette Leopards but not the Lafayette Ragin Cajuns. I do know that Louisiana is in a city named Lafayette. Are the jags playing in Pa or La this weekend? Your article has got me confused.

The guy already stated that he doesn't care per Hammer. That means Bicky's email was a waste of time and energy and most probably worked against what we are trying to do. Especially considering that it was filled with sarcasm. If the guy had begun to sympathize with us, it was just reversed and he will continue to call us Lafayette out of spite. See what I'm getting at here? Stop antagonizing people. It doesn't help the cause.
Re: Opponents view: Jags' defense hope to avoid re-run of Louisiana's running game success
I just care that he calls us winner Saturday night
Re: Opponents view: Jags' defense hope to avoid re-run of Louisiana's running game success
This guy's not the only one who's confused. I was reading a preview of the Hoax and TAMU game and USA Today neglected to research past 1995:
FACTS & FIGURES
... The only time Texas A&M lost to a team from Louisiana besides LSU was 1928 when the Centenary Gents beat the Aggies 6-0.....

Re: Opponents view: Jags' defense hope to avoid re-run of Louisiana's running game success
He's got a few more articles out this morning and it's more of the same. This Hicks guy is clearly going out of his way to painstakingly call us "Lafayette", even when it sound's off while reading it in his story. He's a sports writer, knows that there is a Lafayette College in PA and that writing just Lafayette in reference to us incorrect. He does not care and no one is going to change the way he references the Cajuns. He's a real pro.
Re: Opponents view: Jags' defense hope to avoid re-run of Louisiana's running game success
He's trolling and y'all are all taking the bait

Keep in mind, this isn't anything new. It's not as if SoAl is a new member of the Belt altogether, they are only new in football. Our rivalry with them in the diamond sports and on the hardcourt is long and heated. Losing to us us nothing new for this douche so this childish attempt to belittle us is his balm to soothe his butthurt. Of course, in the process he makes himself look like one of those old hack writers from the American Press.
