Are we going to get it if you have Cox cable?
No. I googled CBSSN and it said not offered in this market on Cox. Then I clicked where they send a letter to Cox on my behalf.
I hope it's not on TV.
Channel 158 for those with DISH
221 for those on DirecTV. For once us satellite people don't get screwed.
I have a decision to make this week.
CBS Sports Network is available on the sports tier on my provider. Do I pay $6-9 for one month of the tier to watch us likely get killed. Esp that late at night. Seriously thinking about just listening on the radio.
First row sports is a European site that streams most live sporting events. I have a "friend" who has used it before. They will probably have it available.
We shall see
Geaux Cajuns
Is there any way COX gets it on a pay per view? Can you get it on line??
Cox USED TO HAVE this channel in their lineup and it looks to be removed now. EATEL in Ascension Parish has it on their sports tier. I'll look at other carriers here in a moment and list it in the Game Info Center weekly publication.
CBS Sports Network does not have an online Internet feed.
Unless I'm wrong it looks like most of us won't be able to watch the Boise game? It shows it being on CBS Sports ... which it looks like neither Cox nor LUS carry, only Dish or Direct TV. And then it looks like not going to be shown on ESPN3 since it is CBS.
Every year there is usually only 1 game on the schedule that isn't shown on ESPN3. Sucks it will be this one.
If UL wants more support ... they need to do a better job of getting the games on TV. I know purple and gold "fans" who would watch UL play on TV if they could. But they can't so they don't. Out of sight, out of mind.
Wooo!!! We satellite people finally get a game that you local cable people can't watch!! Too bad it's prolly gonna be a loss. Booo!!!
What about AT&T Uverse?
I'm not just talking about the Boise game. I'm talking about all the games. Every person in Lafayette can go buy their purple and gold shirts and sit in their living room and watch every LSU game on TV. They can't do that for the Cajuns.
We were doing some work on a Sat one time last year and I remember talking to a coworker who was mentioning how he was on his way home to watch the LSU game. And I said well I'm going home to watch the UL game. So he asked which channel the UL game would be on and said he might go back and forth. Well the only place the UL game was playing was on ESPN3 ... so he went home and only watched the LSU game.
Again, what is the university to suppose to "do" to get us on TV. Maybe we should start our own channel and force the cable TV and satellite providers to put it on their lineup. Tell them if you don't take the Ragin' Cajuns Channel you can't do business in Lafayette. Tell them to go setup shop in Refineryville, you are not welcome in Lafayette, that will show them.
Fire T-Joe, Farmer, Hud and all of the other worthless people that can't get us on TV.
CBS Sports website has a link for an app that says you can watch live events on your phone.

A couple of years ago ESPN 3 wasn't even an option. You'd just be screwed
I'm not blaming anybody. Just making a point. We want to be the next Boise. Well ... Boise fans are going to be able to sit down in their living room and watch their team play football on TV ... along with the other games throughout the year.
We want to be a big deal, the #2 program in the state ... well, how many big time universities and football programs out there don't have the games shown on TV? They all figure out a way to make it happen.
