They have 5 hits off of Donna in 1 2/3. Bases loaded 2 out
Alright out of the 2nd, only 3-1.
In the first inning we had bases loaded no outs and the next 2 batters both grounded into outs at home. Orgeron came through with a hit to score 1.
UM scored all 3 runs with 2 outs all unearned due to an error that would have been the 3rd out.
Better yet, bases loaded no outs, one run in the top of the first........
3 up 3 down for us in the top of the 3rd. Still 3-1 UM
wheww got out of another one w/ bases loaded!
Donna in trouble in the bottom of the 3rd got of of another inning keeping it 3-1
Orgeron, Gaspar and Cormier coming up to bat.
C'mon clutch hitting!!

Mich pushed one across, runner on 1st with 2 outs.

It's official...it still sucks to be a Ragin' Cajuns fan. And I've lost confidence that it will ever get better. Why do I bother?

Why isnt brignac pitching if this is our toughest game? Im in no way saying donna isnt a great pitcher because i know she is. And we have 2 errors which cost us i think 3 runs so it is no way her fault that we gave up the 5 runs.
Actually all 5 runs are unearned for us. Tough thing to overcome for a pitcher no matter who it is.Quote:

Middle infield has had more than its share of errors. Its somewhat understandable since, well, its the middle infield of softball, but we need to limit them. Katie Smith was moved to OF partly because of her errors and because Kelly Cormier is a better fielder.Quote:

I expected more out of runyan this year. She was solid and I never remember her being this shakey before her injury. It never fails we go out to this tournament and kick the ball around and hope to come away with one win. Going 1-4 in these tournaments can't help our rpi too much. I wouldn't mind just getting some wins back home against mediocre talent.
Well let's hope they can get it together and fight through and get a few w's
