We aren't gonna rush for over 200

Re: Texas St@Louisiana Score Predictions
38-31. I think Broadway will have to beat them through the air, just like @ Akron

Don't believe the hype.

Re: Texas St@Louisiana Score Predictions
I think we are going to run better, because Broadway will be able to run. Our backs may not get a ton of yards, but B-way will make up the difference with him feet/legs.

Re: Texas St@Louisiana Score Predictions
If Harris is healthy and Broadway makes good reads, we rush for over 200.

Re: Texas St@Louisiana Score Predictions
I hope you are right Vob, I will be happy with over 150. The key is going to be us stopping the run.

Re: Texas St@Louisiana Score Predictions
Wow, I just noticed something this could get very interesting if it comes down to a FG contest. The Texas State kicker is 0-5 this season. He has only attempted 1 FG from 20-29 yards, the rest were from 40 or longer. Broccoli (I know that is not how it is spelled) is 2-4 but has missed to gimmes.
For his career the Tx State kicker is 25-46 with a long of 54 yards. It appears that they do not kick it allot when they are in the red zone. He must have a strong but inacurate leg.
I hope it does not come down to FGs. Although so far Braucle has been perfect on XP. But so has Johnson.

175 rushing
275 passing

Re: Texas St@Louisiana Score Predictions
There are a couple of pretty crazy predictions going on. I wish I had your fanbases confidence. How big of an O-Line should my Bobcats expect to face? Judging by the rush yards you expect, this Oline must be making some holes for those RBs.
And FYI, our kicker has a hellava leg, but the fanbase talk about whose at fault seems to be circling around the person setting the ball this year and not the kicker so our strongpoint in previous years is now one of the weakest links.

Re: Texas St@Louisiana Score Predictions
We are big enough up front; average is somewhere north of 290, I would guess. Our starting tailback is a load, 215 or so, and he can move the pile. We have a couple of back up TB's that are as quick as a hiccup, and one of them has some power to him. Harris [the starter] averaged nearly 6 YPC against Arkansas and K State.

Completely insane that you come to the opponents fan forum, and shocker of shockers those fans like their own team. One that just put up back to back 9-4 seasons with back to back bowl wins. I mean who could imagine such a thing. Just crazy.

Man that's really good against Arkansas and KState. I could see how that would warrant confidence in your running game. This is going to be a really good test to see how we do in the Sun Belt. With that said do yall think the Cajuns are truly the team to beat this year?

Chill homeslice, What I was getting at is 300 yards rushing is a tall order. Your not playing Nicholl State this weekend. I respect and know what your team has done. With that said you don't have to sell me on your accomplishments. And don't yall ever get tired of talking to each other, I figured you would welcome new blood to the forum?

Honestly, I believe that there is a lot of parity in the conference now. I would not be at all surprised to see a three-way tie at 5-2 for the championship. I am a Cajun fan, so of course, I believe we can do better.
So do the fans of ASU and WKU; and now your fans and the USA folks are starting to feel it. Troy and ULM will beat some people as well. Only GaSt is a sure win this year.

You are right, we are not playing Nicholls....we had 53 rushes for 481 yards against Nicholls and no one has tried to establish a running game against TXST.....I have watched 3 of your games.....if we play as we are capable of playing we will have no problem whippin your butts...
