The new scoreboard coming to the Tigue, trucks are here and it is happening.
Yessssssss!!!
Keep the updates coming.
Anybody have a sketch of what it will look like???
I will be in the right field stands taking pictures of this great moment in history.
It would have been nice to test it out with 17 runs yesterday.
What a great couple of months for all the negative nancy's and haters. If this scoreboard goes up on time and construction starts by August you can see things have changed.
And, most of the "negative nancies" have acknowledged things have changed for the better. And, were advocating for these exact types of changes awhile ago.

Not trying to convince anyone that our administration is great... I'm fully aware the scoreboard was a private donation. that was why I mentioned the construction in August. While separate and different they go hand in hand. Ask around and you can hear stories about similar situations and being denied or turned down.
Things are changing crazy cajun. It'll never be perfect or ideal but get on board and enjoy the ride.
Yes sir! Things took a drastic change when Doc Savoie was told by cusa at the 2012 bowl game that our facilities and budget sucked. Notice how quickly things have transpired in 5 short months. Shamefully our admins failed to ask the same question in Dec 2011. Shameful. Things are rolling now!
On another note I was told at the baseball games this weekend that RCAF is 400K over where they were this time last year. Hopefully they can close out the year just as strong.
This is a nice surprise for Monday Morning.....
First look
"Black is not a school color" post in 3...2...1...
Black doesn't turn pink
Did CUSA know anything about our budget or our facilities until now? I think a lot of why they have taken us for what they have is from word of mouth from other schools. Farmer's powerpoint presentation I'm sure didn't help at all with that perception. I'm sure they were envisioning double wides everywhere from what Tech thinks about our facilities. But truth be told...we beat them hands down. In fact...most of the schools in CUSA now have worse facilities than we do. These officials that are coming down here now are prolly running back to Banowsky screaming why did we invite Charlotte these guys are ready to go?
Our budget is still not good. Even at 20 mill. Our budget would be one of the lowest in CUSA
I'm sure C-USA does its due diligence in looking at potential conference mates.
I don't know what schools you're thinking of but Trust me when I say our facilities are truly some of the worst out there. There's nothing to hang our hat on when it comes to facilities.
I don't know the Cajundome and the softball field are nice
As long as CUSA officials never had to use the restroom or buy nachos at Cajun Field we should be fine..
