Re: Cajun Softball Question
Lotief is still around, Megan would be in over her head otherwise. I think she'll make a great coach one day but truly being handed the reigns of a perennial powerhouse out of the gates would be overwhelming I think.

No.

Re: Cajun Softball Question
So. are we saying there is no way Mike will be associated with the team next year?

Re: Cajun Softball Question
I think once this is all said and done Mike will return as the head guy...If not then Scott will go the cheapest route...Meghan may become a good coach one day but she isnt ready yet...Just by watching here live, on tv and the way she talks she is still very green...
Re: Cajun Softball Question
I saw Foote had a blog on the advertiser's website last week that he heard a solution to the whole ordeal surrounding the program was in the works and should know something soon.
Any chance that means Mike stays??
Re: Cajun Softball Question
I am hearing something will be announced soon either way. He is either gone or will be staying. Just rumors around the ball park. Hopefully he stays and this gets worked out quickly.

Yes.
Re: Cajun Softball Question
In the absolutely worst case that Mike isn't here, and omitting the pure coaching issue, I think having Meagan as head coach with only Josh and another inexperienced addition as coaches would severely impact recruiting. You may even lose a good percentage of the existing 2013 LOI class of eight already signed, and it would be tough to convince talented young players to come here.

This takes care of all the rumors. (He is gone or will be staying) Is there any in between?
Re: Cajun Softball Question
Let's hope Mike gets what he has been asking for and stays on as head coach and Scott eats crow.......

He seems to be.
No reason for him to.

Re: Cajun Softball Question
In regard to Scott, I was all for him five years ago when the first thing he spoke about was a master plan for athletics and getting our athletic program ready for movement to a better conference. I think five years is past long enough. Regardless of what happens from this point forward, I just don't think he's the person to push this athletic program into where we all want to be. He seems to talk the talk but not walk the walk. JMO

1. His hiring decisions = C-
2. His operational expertise = C
3. His ability to fit into the Cajun Nation = D
4. His ability to see the big picture = C
5. His ability to evaluate and motivate staff = C
6. His believability = D
A person in his position should be scoring "B's" in ALL of the above.
CONCLUSION: T-Joe should be calling TWO CAJUNS AND A TRUCK

Man, you're really generous with those grades. You must like him. LOL. Mine would have been nowhere near that high.

On point 1) I agree only because of HUD.
On point 2) Too high.
On point 3) Fitting out of Cajun Mation rather quickly.
On point 4) Way too high.
On point 5) This is a 0.0
On point 6) Incomplete score cue to total lack of information.
