1-0 Cajuns top 1 on a Compton RBI single
60 degrees and sunny to open the game. The wind is blowing in and right to left. Will be tough to get one out. LF has a chance today.
Santa Clara pitcher (Mike Couch) has very average stuff. Throwing strikes without ducks on the pond, but was off once the Cajuns were threatening.
Nicholson off to a good start.
And once again, I am ecstatic about the play at Shortstop.

Conrad nice hit . . or so Stevie P told me. :)
Bummed I couldn't make the game. This was one of the few I thought I'd make this year, but family obligations wouldn't let me get away. Cheer them on for me.
Im listening and updating via Twitter if anyone is intersted. Follow username RaisingCajun
Santa Clara scored 2 in the bottom of the 3rd to go ahead 2-1.
"sun" he said "sun"
And I thought the word had been washed away.
Butler is really struggling at the plate. Biting on pitches well out of the zone.

I can't get the listen live link to work and the stats won't work for me either. My computer is screwing me over
Wow we're popping up A LOT!
I seem to recall us having the same problem last year
I missed what happened, but the Cajuns tie it up in the 6th. SC pitcher coming out.
According to stat tracker, a Francia double followed by a Leonards single scored a run, but Leonards was caught stealing to end the inning.
Santa Clara with super cool throwback unis!
Strentz hit it out of the park to LF, just foul. He then laced a one hopper to the wall in LF foul by about four feet. Then struck out on a ball low out of the zone.

Cord Cockrell on to pitch. Sounding good so far.
The wind has shifted. It is still blowing right to left ... but no longer blowing in. It is actually blowing out some to LF.
Sinclair hit one out to RF, but foul by about 30 feet.

Booyah!!! Cajuns up 5-2!!!
HOW BOUT THEM CAJUNS!
That bunt by Bowman was a thing of beauty.
Nice hit and run that preceded it, Conrad lacing one past the third baseman.
Leonards rifles a ball through the right side to score Bowman and steals second base easily.
Cajuns lead 5-2.

So sad I didn't get to SEE that squeeze... prettiest play in baseball.
