Kids can't play under the bleachers at Russo Park
In many years past, as my kids grew up, they were able to play wherever they wanted at the Tigue. Most kids played in the rocks under the 1st and 3rd base bleacher sections. In the last 2-3 years, security and those few UL employees floating the concourse have stopped them from playing in those areas. WHY?
So now all the kids do is run back and forth in the front of the fans THE WHOLE DAMN GAME. Tripping old people, dodging fans with drinks and food, wrestling, playing catch, climbing the fence, etc. Security used to walk that area and often have them move or sit, but they don't anymore.
What gives?

Liability? I would think there is more of a liability of them quickly weaving in and out of unsuspecting fans that are walking the front aprons of the bleachers and grand stands. Its also a liability to them constantly blocking my view of the game! Punk _____ kids! LOL
Re: Kids can't play under the bleachers at Russo Park
My guess would be that some were throwing the rocks so it got stopped.

That makes sense.

"Tripping old people, dodging fans with drinks and food, wrestling, playing catch, climbing the fence..."
Maybe parents have a responsibility to make their children behave themselves.

Need to construct a built in baby sitter like the NEZ at Cajun Field.
No liability at all there, until that day Junior breaks his arm rolling down the hill.

I think I saw a Get Gordon sign under the bleachers.

My now 23 year old son played under the Rt field bleachers from the age of 4 to 10 or so with a bunch of little boys he met at the games. If he couldn’t do that as a youngster he night have stayed home instead.
Now he stays home because 2 dollar Nattys now cost 5. Thats hard on a college budget. My how priorities change over the years.
