Elon Musk Put on a Master Class in PR Management
“The evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack. Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards,” Musk posted on X Wednesday. “Not even the glass doors of the lobby were broken.”
By taking to X to respond soon after the incident occurred, Musk was able to help shape the narrative, said Ryan McCormick, cofounder and managing partner of Goldman McCormick PR, which specializes in crisis management.
“It is so important to act quickly in these situations, because people are coming to their own conclusion, and they are formulating their own opinion,” McCormick told Fortune. “If there's no response by you, they are coming to their own conclusion.”

This is why when it comes to game day management, you get out in front of unanswered questions and turn them into a total team effort.
Its not enough to just work on problems behind the scenes because as the article points out “If there's no response by you, they are coming to their own conclusion.”
Silence hurts future attendance. Past examples of silence when (to various degrees) certain fans needed answers .... when there is an issue like running out of water ... delayed concessions ... empty parking spaces ... over eager seat police ... Sodexo pricing ... ticket master fees ... piped in music ... uncoordinated band play ... untimely PA interactions ... reseating ... locked in stadium no re-entry policies and situations like these.
Help fans understand the big picture so that the only unknown remaining is how the actual game they came to see will play out.

Your best post on a long time! Truth, well told is something out Athletic Dept has yet to master. Communication with fans has become an ugly job , I guess....

Elon is also exposing exactly how much data vehicles are collecting. For those worried about privacy, hope you not driving any modern vehicle.

That has been a known known since day one.
They have exposed thousands of lies and false claims through the years.
I spent a a whole day a few years back watching them catching thieves and vandals with the footage the 7 or 9 built in cameras captured.

My point is that its more than just Tesla. All vehicle manufacturers are collecting lots of data.

For sure.
Has any other manufacturer been as forthcoming as Tesla?

And they probably also know where you park. But do they know if you had to pay to park?

What is really hilarious was that right after it exploded in LV, people were like "Yeah, Tesla's kinda just do that."

Perception is often crazily innacurate.
The hilarious part is a Tesla is one tenth as likely to catch on fire and a traditional car
