Morgan caught way too much of the plate 0-2 on that double. Someone not named Debo needs to get going at the plate for us.

Outside of a 3 batter stretch in bottom of 8th......our hitting really sucks.

Definitely in a slump

Mazza giving us fits. Lots of weak contact so far.

Morgan has settled in nicely.

More than a slump. This team just has a terrible approach at times. But they compete…and if the pitching can keep USM at bay, Cajuns will figure it out. Let’s Geaux!!!

I wonder how many counts Mazza has been ahead in. Has to be the vast majority. We’ve been fouling off pitches to hit all weekend.
