That is a big loss, but great news for Lacy. If you spend any time around the Cajun softball games, you can clearly see how involved Lacy is in the day-to-day operations of the team. It sucks to lose her, and I am sure Coach Glasco will have a plan for replacing her, but good luck to Lacy as a head coach of the Demons, it is a well-deserved opportunity. Anytime your assistant gets a job at the division, one level it’s a good thing, especially coming from amid nature like us. I know softball is different than other sports, but this is only a good thing one get assistance hired at the D1 level.

Super happy for Coach Lacy. She has worked hard to get an opportunity to run her own program.

I am hoping the coach to replace Coach Lacy could be someone many of us guys know. We will see how or if that hope plays out. Hopefully the other new coach will be announced soon. Rest assure Coach Glasco will bring in quality coaches.
