NCAA President Calls for Uniform NIL Contracts
“No matter where we go on this issue, the NCAA, schools or Congress, we cannot and will not impede student-athletes rights to earn money from legitimate NIL deals,” Baker said. “Unfortunately, when this issue unfolded several years ago, the NCAA didn’t get something done. I believe that was a mistake, and now we need to adapt.”

Re: NCAA President Calls for Uniform NIL Contracts
When the government has to come in and fix your mistake. Woof.
Not sure how opening Pandora’s box, putting in little guidelines and not enforce them went wrong.
Re: NCAA President Calls for Uniform NIL Contracts
Guidelines will be declared to be unconstitutional . . . No one shall abridge the constitutional right of another to otherwise make income . . . It’s not hard . . .

Professional sports leagues have overall salary caps imposed on the team itself.
How about an overall NIL cap on the schools themselves.
Spend as you see fit.

Yes, salary caps for teams on what they can pay a player. Those same players have no limits on what they can make through advertisements. Apple and oranges.

The NFL does not abridge the rights of its players to make endorsement/outside money . . . Akin to NiL. Salary Cap is akin to scholarships, stipends . . . The Supreme Court has spoken and said the NCAA shall not abridge the players constitutional right to make money, period . . . How many times will this need to be posted before it sinks into that noggin of yours . ..
