The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Basketball team officially begins regular season play in the 2022-23 season on Monday, November 7 hosting Houston at the Cajundome. The matchup kicks off the 11th season of the Garry Brodhead era and the 52nd season overall in program history.
Did I hear right at the game Sat that all women's basketball games are free?

I spoke to Coach Brodhead recently about this. He simply asked his season ticket holders (I don't know the no. but can't be more than a couple of hundred) to increase their donation to his Assist Club (women's version of the Rebounders by the amount they would have paid for tickets. All agreed and he does not have to pay the cost of having tickets printed. All Assist club members now get an additional tax deduction for their increased donation. Problem will occur four times this year and one is tonight. When there is a double header, arena will be cleared after women's game and prior to the men's game. Not sure how that will work logistically.Quote:
