Re: Two significant football injuries
Frick you for making me click link.
The 2 players are chase rogers and stevie artigue
"The Cajuns also would not comment on a rumor suggesting Artigue already has undergone surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in one of his knees and another rumor suggesting Rogers underwent surgery last week to repair a broken foot."
Re: Two significant football injuries
Very disappointed about rogers. Thought he was going to have a yuuuugggeee year
Two key Cajuns' status uncertain for 2018 football season
The status of both starting kicker Stevie Artigue and starting tight end Chase Rogers for UL’s upcoming season is uncertain after both Ragin’ Cajun football players sustained recent offseason injuries.
Also uncertain is whether the two will play at all in 2018.
Re: Two significant football injuries
Was Chase Rogers the TE that had to be talked into staying this year by Coach Napier?

Yes that is him
Re: Two significant football injuries
Both should have had the surgeries months ago. Guess they figured that surgery was season ending then or later, and tried therapy instead. But I’m speculating.
Re: Two significant football injuries
Rogers played in spring game..so either reinjured the foot he broke in the fall or broke a different bone/foot

Offseason workout injuries is what the article said. To me that means they happened after the spring game which was on April 21. If correct, earlier surgeries were not possible.
