Napier throws down attendance challenge...
The big challenge is for Acadiana to come out and support this team. We've got almost a million people within 35 miles of here and there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to pack this place. We want the fans to get behind these kids and the university and for us to accomplish something significant and special here. We're about 13 days away from the spring game, and we want to be 36,000 strong for the game and fill this place. I know how Cajuns are, and they'll show up and make it a great day. The spring game will be just a practice run for the fall, and we want to make every spring going forward like that, making it a great weekend in Lafayette, because it's a great place. I feel as though it's time to come together and see if we can do something special

36k for the spring game? I don’t think we’ve ever had more than 32k actual Cajun fans for a regular season game. As awesome as that would be, it’s nothing more than a pipe dream
Re: Napier throws down attendance challenge...
If we can get a typical home crowd into the stadium for a spring game, that would be a major accomplishment.
Having said that, I think it can happen. Time to capitalize on the excitement.

If we could get 10k for the spring game that would be a major accomplishment

Going to be a great day of Cajun sports... Let's hope the weather cooperates... With my new softball season tickets, I and at least 6 others will be there all day...
Suggestion for those in power... Limit (not eliminate) the unused parking spaces in Lot's A & B for baseball for this day only and let us tailgate near the stadium

Y’all complain when we don’t promote and then y’all complain on how we promote. WGAF what he said.. We’re trying to get people in the door to support this team and jump start a football culture that this town has never experienced.
BRAVO to the staff. Now the supporters have to do their part.

Every high school kid and probably more levels in the Acadiana area will be invited.....obviously any kid in America....but a real push to get these kids at the game!!! This is a great idea for recruiting more than just athletics and getting the whole herd thinking Louisiana!!!
