RCAF looks at effect of profane video
Jim Harris has heard the furor.
As executive director of the Ragin’ Cajun Athletic Foundation (RCAF), fund-raising arm for the Louisiana's athletic department, he knows some supporters are upset over controversial and profane football locker room video drawing national attention.
He’s fielded phone calls. He’s read text messages and emails.
He’s knows some have threatened to withdraw donations, and that others will consider doing the same if things don’t change.
Direct link removed for promoting edited version of video.
Re: RCAF looks at effect of profane video
I'm surprised that Turbine has let this thread continue. He must have slept in as I would have thought he would have cleared this post immediately......Just like he did mine last week when I posted news of the video and it was up for about all of 2 minutes before it was removed.
Re: RCAF looks at effect of profane video
lol, a one post thread???
I only saw a video that seemed to be less than a minute, is there more to it?
I honestly couldn't make out much of the profanity, nor differentiate what was the lyrics and what was players own words. although there should probably be a no video in the locker room policy, due to people leaving/going to shower etc.
there must be another version, ill keep looking later....
bottom line always got to love that double standard when stuff like this gets longer suspensions than actually arrests by bama and other such big boys.....
Re: RCAF looks at effect of profane video
They better be careful....remember the demographics student athletes. If they want to win...they may want to let this one go or the Cajuns may not be able to sign black athletes in the area for a long time.
I still side with HUD. He spends more time with these kids than anyone else, he knows they are kids. None of these kids committed crimes.
RCAF money can easily be replaced...good area athletes and a reputation of not feeling welcomed.....not so much.

Am I the only one who wishes Buckley would quit writing articles about the damn video?

I'm sure Hud feels the same way...
Re: RCAF looks at effect of profane video
The thing that amazes me at least in my area of friends. All of the LSU people who are all of a sudden concerned with the Cajuns they all have opinions now. And none of them contribute here financially.
