He absolutely said no to FDL on national TV, instead promoting Ragin'Cajuns in those games. The QB crowd IMO prefers the FDL. In the long run both are unique looking, but I think the FDL similar to the Clemson paw would be better remembered.
Florida uses the written Gators, and reminds me of the Ragin'Cajun helmets. Funny how we seem parallel to the Gators in so many ways. Play at the Swamp, scripted names on helmets, both with ties to gators, one a gators mascot and team name, the other being pushed as a mascot.
I've got my red on at work. All I'm missing in a link of boudin and a beer. If only.
