Georgia Southern's AD made a big mistake when he fired Sewak. Sewak went 35-14 while at GSU. The coach that replaced him had one 3-8 season and was done. The next guy went 18-15 the next 3 years. It has taken them till this year under Monken, who is running the triple option that he and Sewak both learned from Paul Johnson, to get back to where they should be.

Understandable. But still, it seems that there was a period of decline once Sewak took the reigns over.
Here he will be expected to elevate. There he was expected to maintain and fell short of that.
