Louisiana Softball head coach Gerry Glasco announced on Monday (September 25, 2023) that former Ragin' Cajuns All-American softball player Shellie Landry has returned to her alma mater to serve as an assistant coach on the program's coaching staff beginning in the 2023-24 academic year.

She has been working with the hitters for the last 3 weeks or so. From what I am hearing the players love her.

This sounds like a great hire, a proven coach who has helped improve the softball program at Mcneese who loves UL. The hits (no pun intended) keep coming for Coach Glasco.

I think she's a great addition, glad to have her back. If she has been working for 3 weeks, why did they wait until now to announce it?
