What are the terms of the contract? Hopefully they are more incentive based but that’s probably not the case. Oh well

You say mediocrity, but since the 2010-2011 season, only one school has won the SBC Tournament and advanced to the NCAA Tournament with an automatic bid more than Louisiana. Georgia State (4), who finished dead last in 2022-23 with a 10-21 record, 3-15 in conference.

this does not disabuse me of my feeling that this contract keeps the cajuns yoked to mediocrity.

Marlin consistently finishes middle of the league. He needs to finish much higher much more often to move from mediocre to good, and that’s still not Shipley, Pascal level. Just good.
