In State Football Recruiting.
Have we gone back to pre Napier years with in state recruiting? Before Billy we always had a hard time beating Tech at the football recruiting game. Billy changed that and became 2nd in the state with out question. Are we going back to the old days? According to this Tech had their best class EVER.

If you use On3 composites as a neutral source....UL easily beat LTURd

I was going to say, that makes little sense. They play in a much worse conference, with a horrible budget, propped up by the state and have been down right awful the last 2 years. Hard to believe they just reeled in their best class ever.

Supposedly LaTech had a really good transfer portal class. If we are taking about HS kids it’s not even close. Louisiana had the better class.

…...So at the recruiting program many things were mentioned as to why we took the kids we did (a bunch of the ltur signees we didn’t offer) why we took an additional TE, areas of lost players, players not even put on UL’s list….I am sure Cajun T can give more info!

Per Rivals. Is Rivals not a good source? Some say On3 is not a good source. At least some Florida fans I read the other day.
What is the best source for these type of rankings?

I'm sorry, I was referring to the la tech website, not you.

I would say that losing doesn't help and building a reputation takes time. Look at Napier's first class and his second, and you will see the transformation begin. It should be no surprise Tulane recruited very well; Tech has loaded up on transfers which is understandable because they need to improve drastically. Their HS class is a notch below UL in my opinion, but not by a great margin.

I told everyone to wait until after the NSD to judge our class. We are fine, but wins will be the ultimate definer of any recruiting class.
