I always thought Sumlin was a pretty classy guy. As for the mixups late in the game last night, game announcers said it appeared he sent his player to the locker room even before the refs disqualified him.Quote:

Sumlin is not a thug and has had levels of success everywhere he has gone. The coaching profession is a fickle one and is not very forgiving. While I think a guy like Sumlin would be a great fit for our program, I don't think there is any way in hell we would get a guy like that. I think coaches like him will have head coaching opportunities at larger universities in the upcoming months. We will likely need to go after some sort of younger up and coming coach who is a coordinator somewhere.Quote:
