I heard we provide the color man. Also, I believe Raycom will be doing some (or one) of our other games.

We are providing a color commentator only because they called up Raycom and complained as our school didn't even know that this could be done. Shame we haven't looked into it ourselves. Originally, it was supposed to be 2 McNeese alums doing the broadcast.

Sounds like the Arkansas St. game

You just look foolish. A few posts making you points or talking trash looks like normal activity. Post after post after post makes you look like a weird kid.
This.
Even a 'sunshine pumper' like me, who is nothing but a Stoodge for SF, still knows that we are waaaay far from our goals and potential.
All he's doing is being the tool that he is....here, and in real life. I don't care what 'charity' work, blah, blah he does.
Re: McNeese HC Lance Guidry's Weekly Press Conference.
I don't think we McNeese fans know what to expect. There is a new head coach, new quarterback, etc. Frankly we are looking at this as what Zem calls an "oil check" game. McNeese fans want McNeese to be good enough to compete for a FCS national championship. And, frankly, if they are good enough to do that they should be able to beat the Cajuns.
When I say that remember who they would have to be able to beat in order to win a FCS national championship. There's North Dakota State, which has a 5-2 record since it moved up from D-II against teams now in the Power 5 conferences. Then you look at this season. Last weekend Northern Iowa beat Iowa State, Eastern Washington beat Washington State, and Richmond beat Virginia.
It's not like it'll be the end of the world if McNeese loses to the Cajuns. But by the expectations of the program they should be able to beat them...or any other Sun Belt team for that matter...and if they can't they are not where they need to be.

As I understand it, the McNeese alums, who've done PBP and color commentary before, took the bull by the horns and suggested televising the game in Lake Charles to Raycom. I could be wrong, but they did the ground work and pitched it to the powers that be, who agreed. Televising it in Lafayette was an afterthought, on the coattails of the McNeese alums who pitched it.
The only slap in the face here is to Buford Jordan who helped lay the ground work, did promos and lent his name to getting this done.
Typical USL response. No gumption to actually come up with ideas and do the scut work necessary to be successful, simply show up late, _____ and whine loud enough and throw a fit until somebody throws you a bone...
No wonder every other fan base in the state, aside from Southern, laughs at the vainglorious overreach inherent to the "University of Louisiana" movement.
You guys have tried everything else, and I do mean EVERYTHING else, why don't you try laying a proper foundation, doing the actual work necessary to excel and then letting the chips fall where they may, instead of trying to shortcut and name change your way to relevance?
Pathetic...as usual.

Jay you took 5 paragraphs to agree with what Zephyr said in 3 sentences. Why?
