Are there going to be people there to sign up new members? (RCAF members that is)
Conversely not all Turbine disciples are RCAF members.
I don't know that there will be any one place to stop. Our group hasn't made plans yet but my vote will be to make it like a Pub Crawl and hit every spot finishing up at the Alumni Party at the Dome.

Hate to brake it to you two but, sections 346 through 304 are super crappy seats because you can't judge distance. It's nearly impossible to tell the difference between a 2 yard and 20 yard run. I'm unfortunately in section 348 which is right between the goal post. I've sat in these sections several times for Saints games. The last time I was stuck in that section for a Saints game I found myself watching the game from one of the concession stands. At half time I left and finished watching the game in a French Quarters bar.
The Superdome has more than twice the seating capacity of Cajun Field. Even the lower sections of the Superdome that we will be occupying will seat more than Cajun Field. The problem I have with all of this is I'm a season ticket holder and my tickets are right on the 30 yard line at Cajun Field. My expectation were that my seats for this game would be similar to what I have at Cajun Field.
Who got the tickets behind the team? Why are season ticket holders place in the end zone? None of this makes sense to me.
Does anyone know if there is a way to upgrade your seats other than buying them from a scalper?
Very Disappointed,
Nu

I've emailed Scott to check with him. I asked him two questions.
- Is the team traveling through BR? And why I want to know, and what I was trying to organize.
- Was my idea ok with him?
We'll see what he says.

Re: When do we get tickets?
The first and foremost most important thing to do was to put the deposit EARLY. Those of us RCAF and season ticketholders who did, just as the newspapers, and media outlets suggested, recieved the priority seating.

Wrong! I was at the ticket office @ 9:15 the first AM. RCAF & season ticket holder. Ended up w/6 on the ten yd line. Best available? I bet not. But I'll enjoy the game immensely anyway.
Re: When do we get tickets?
I'm not sure exactly how the selection was done, but the pecking order looks like it followed what was described. The deposits that were recieved as soon as the CAJUNS were at 6 wins took priority. This was a dated order. No one new at that time where we were going. The ticket office assured RCAF and season ticket holders that if we invited to a bowl that we simply could not attend, you would simply apply the deposit to next years tickets. No system is perfect, I'm glad were going, Hope everyone has a great time, and lets get behind this team and it's great fans and support them.
Let's make the RCAF even larger than it is now. Just look at all the doors that this great foundation has opened.
Re: When do we get tickets?
I kind of forgot about all the government and Political favors that have to be taken care of initially------maybe they started at the 50 for the legislators, judges, and whomever else deserves our BIG Government treats----I think that they deserve NOTHING--but such is life---See ya'll Thursday!!!
Re: Ragin Pagers should meet up someplace before the game.
Hopefully the guys will have the place filled with UL stuff or hope that Jay will bring all the stuff to cover up all the LSU stuff---This needs to be done!!!!!
Re: When do we get tickets?
Boomer, One thing is for sure...New Orleans WILL know we are there. The place will be Rockin' RED.. Let's make them SAY OUR NAME!
Have a safe trip bro!
Re: When do we get tickets?

I hope it works out, Andre. I think that would be awesome for the team.

Re: When do we get tickets?

Re: When do we get tickets?
Not to be too much of polyanna but it sure is better to be _____ing about where our seats are for the bowl game than to be _____ing about being bowl eligible and sitting at home.

They didn't go by who placed their orders first. They took all the pre-orders and placed you according to your RCAF level and so on.

ULM fan here. Best Wishes to the Cajuns in the N. O. Bowl this Saturday. You represent your university, but also the Sun Belt, so we're behind you. We'll be watching. P. S. I had the best time I could have at a football game, when losing by one pt., when I went down this year (and I've been to at least 20 games when ULM played in Lafayette--more in basketball & baseball, too). Your fans, as much as anything else, inspired me to make this post!

Props to you for keeping your word. And thanks for the good wishes. As anyone who has visited the Hoax Hanger (or Nest or whatever it is called) is well aware, your sentiments are in the minority on your board.
But don't for a minute think we are going to stop using UL or Louisiana. I got a good chuckle out of your whining claims of us "bullying" local businesses and media. Laughable, simply laughable
