Poncho hitting for?
Dam. Why they not let Lott bat here. Stupid. He could tie it up with one swing. Ugh.
lol that's like 6 inches outside
LSU closer is good. Shouldn't have squandered the opportunities earlier
This one is on Talbot!
Man.... I hate to say it but with the way we play we are basically mediocre. Just insane..
This is another over managed boondoggle by a coaching staff that is chasing its tail. I'm ____ing ____ed.
That was a very sad pinch hit at bat by Poncho. Looked like he did not want to be out there.
Another one dropped because we keep banging our heads against the wall hoping that we might break through eventually. Good pitching performance, though. Strategy and some at bats, no bueno.
This isn't on the coaches. Too many guys on early and in scoring position. Bad execution all around
Not to sound dramatic but unless we can figure out how to hit, the postseason baseball team we're accustomed to may be fewer and far between. You're not going to have a Gunner Leger very often.
Jeremy Talbot is a technical hitting coach. He's a "fixer" of swings. He is a classic over thinker.
Matt Deggs is a guy that instills belief and knows how to call a game from the box. Totally different coach, even though they run the same system. Chip Kelly and Mark Helfridge run the same system too.
Yes. Didn't understand bunting decisions. Shoulda been able to get Antchak home from 3rd with just one out. Plus otheropportunities...
And when Monica was thrown out at the plate trying to score from 2nd, shoulda been runners on the corners with no outs instead of runner at first with one out... but hell of a play by Robertson on that one...
When you can't even put the ball in play consistently with runners at third, you can't expect to be anything better than mediocre.
I'm PO'd Our postseason hopes vanishing before us
